Our Story

Why Calibre Exists

Security inspections have traditionally focused on physical access, visible surveillance devices, and structural vulnerabilities. As wireless infrastructure has become part of almost every building, that picture is incomplete without an understanding of the Wi-Fi environment.

Calibre was built to give security professionals a practical way to bring wireless analysis into their existing survey process, without requiring specialist RF training or unfamiliar software.

The platform continues to be shaped by feedback from TSCM operators, protective security consultants, and corporate security teams who use it as part of their day-to-day work.

Our Approach

How We Think About the Platform

A few principles guide how Calibre is designed and developed.

Built for the field

Every feature is designed around how a survey actually happens on site, not how data looks when viewed in isolation. The platform is built for use on location, often under time pressure.

Clarity over noise

Wireless scans can return large amounts of data. Calibre is designed to surface what is relevant rather than presenting an unfiltered list that requires manual interpretation.

Security-first design

The platform is built to observe and document the wireless environment, not to interfere with networks or devices. It supports analysis, not intrusion.

Plain language reporting

Findings are structured so they can be understood by clients who may not have a technical background, while retaining the detail operators need.

How Calibre Is Developed

Shaped by Operators in the Field

Calibre is developed in close contact with the people who use it. Rather than building features in isolation, development is guided by how wireless analysis fits into real survey work.

Built around real survey workflows

Development started by understanding how TSCM and security teams structure a site visit, from initial scan to final report.

Tested in live environments

The platform has been refined through use in corporate offices, residential estates, and meeting spaces.

Ongoing refinement

Feedback from operators continues to shape how findings are presented, tagged, and exported.

Our Commitment

A Tool for Visibility, Not Intrusion

Calibre is built with a clear boundary in mind. The platform helps professionals see and document the wireless environment that is already present and detectable around a site, in order to support better-informed security decisions.

Responsible by design

Calibre does not attack networks, bypass encryption, intercept communications, or provide unauthorised access. Read more in our Responsible Use policy.
